Our first trip to the Forgotten Coast, staying in Cape San Blas at Its A Shore Thing was purely breathtaking perfection.   There are not words to describe the sunrise or sunset beyond the most specular sherbet cotton candy dessert one could imagine. Let’s not forget about the home, my husband even said ‘I really like the decorations in this home!  Wowza…. The home is fully stocked, from kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms.  The home is quiet, peaceful, you can see the dolphins or merely walk onto any deck and listen to the ocean.  Or hop the boardwalk to the beach and have the beautiful white sand on your toes.
Teresa and staff are absolutely fabulous, we utilized their suggestions on grocery shopping to dining out.  Just remember you’re on EST time BUT also island time, so check to see when places are open.
We went into our vacation with teenagers who spent most days in the pool then walking the beach searching for seashells.  Us adults wanted relaxation, private (no condos), and to hear ourselves think for once without distraction.  Well the home and location did just that.  We NEVER waited for a table at a restaurant, were met with someone to push the shopping cart of groceries to our car and loading it, and quite frankly the most kind and generous people.   But note, our teenagers were NEVER bored, were so tired and in bed at 9:00pm, and up early.   They’re still water logged from swimming.
We couldn’t be more blessed for our time at Its A Shore Thing and the amazing beauty that surrounds it.  The landscaping is beautiful at this home.
Thank you again to Teresa’s Beach Home for allowing us to stay and create MEMORIES, as a family.
