Sandy Footprints

Have stayed at Sandy Footprints as well as Avalon. These homes are extremely well managed, never an issue or problem. Everything is just as stated on Teresa’s Beach Homes website, never a surprise. We have found the rental rates to be as good as or better than most. Have already booked our 2026 trip back to Sandy Footprints.

We have stayed in this property for the past 2 years. In our opinion, the location is excellent. We prefer the northern end of the cape, and this is about as far as you can go. The home is well equipped, and the layout suits our needs perfectly. The pool is a big plus and has good access to a section of beach that doesn’t appear to have been affected by erosion as much as the southern end of the cape.
We have stayed at many homes on the Cape and rented from all the property management companies over the past 25 years. This home is by far, our favorite and will be our first choice for coming vacations. Also, our experience working with Teresas Beach Homes has been fantastic. Prompt courteous service, quick responses to questions and open honest communication.
We will definitely be booking Sandy Footprints through Teresas for our next vacation!

Pros: Location, Location, Location , pool, beach chairs and supplies, large dining area for a large family, plenty of room for our teens and their friends. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of pantry storage.

Cons: The furnishings such as the couch are so worn out they need updating. They were very uncomfortable. There were stains on the carpet in every room. It looked like old pet urine. The kitchen needs a deep, deep clean specifically around the sink area. There was build up and grime that should be address. Mattress and Pillows are older and need replacing. For the price it should have been very clean but the furnishing and mattress were uncomfortable and worn out

We absolutely loved our stay at Sandy Footprints! It’s a great home. The views of ocean from the top deck are amazing.! The beach is beautiful and the walk to it is short. The home was very clean and spacious. We’ll be back for sure!

The house, the location, amenities, cleanliness, weather and everything else that I could think of was PERFECT !! Thank you ladies for making a perfect week for us to make some long lasting memories… Until next which we will be !!!

This was our second stay at Sandy Footprints. We thoroughly enjoyed the house; the kitchen is great, the pool is wonderful and we love the location.

We had such a good time staying at Sandy footprints! The house was great, we enjoyed the pool and location to the beach. The house is spacious, clean and I would recommend and def stay here again!

Sandy Footprints is an amazing beach house!! It has everything you could need on your vacation! The kitchen is well stocked! It has been recently updated. It was exceptionally clean. The pool was wonderful for the children to enjoy when not on the beach! I highly recommend this beach house and renting from Teresa’s Beach Homes!

We have been coming to the Cape for 13 years. We try to change houses to have a new experience, But this was the third time we have stayed at Sandy Footprints. This house keeps drawing us back. The layout is great, it has everything you need. The heated pool is awesome especially for the early season visit. The built in seats in the pool are wonderful for adults to lounge, and make for a play area for those young ones in a life jacket to stand while building their courage. The walk over to the beach is recently rebuilt. All good for Sandy Footprints.

Teresa’s Beach Homes never disappoints! We has a lovely time! Just wish we could have stayed longer! House is comfortable (beds are a bit firm) and well appointed. Location is great…very private even though there are other houses around.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy Footprints! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The pool was tons of fun after spending the morning at the beach. The proximity to the beach and State Park was wonderful! We have already rebooked for next summer!

We thoroughly enjoyed out time at Sandy Footprints. The layout made it easy to spread out, and it was just a short walk to beach (less than 2 mins). Wonderful views from the top deck of the gulf. I really appreciated the grassy area behind the house for the pups. The pool was lovely and warm enough for a quick dip every day when coming in from the beach. We love renting form Teresa’s Beach Homes!

Sandy Footprints was a wonderful location for our family spring break get-away in mid-March! We enjoyed its close proximity to several good restaurants and the Fish Market and to the state park. All of us wanted exercise and just to get away from winter. Long Beach walks, sitting by the heated pool, and enjoying one another was the plan and although the weather could have been better, we achieved our goal and enjoyed the visit to the hilt. The kitchen offered everything needed for cooking, preparing, and serving meals (after we mastered the unusual stove), and the bedrooms and baths were clean and comfortable. No elevator is in the house and a trek over the dunes to get to the beach provided us with with needed exercise, so we saw this as a plus! I only missed the ability to see the sunset from the main floor as two houses in front obstructed the view, and the upstairs porch was rather raw at this early time of the year.

The views from the decks were outstanding. The upper floor was great with its 3 bedrooms – one of which was a bunk room … perfect for many small ones or many big ones as well … the kitchen was large and well equipped … Being at the end of the cape the silence at night was refreshing. Having your own pool made the whole experience even more special.

Beautiful, clean house and a great saltwater pool. Kitchen is more than stocked with cookware, etc. Comfy beds and furniture. We’re spoiled for beachfront so we did miss the view. Elevator would be a great addition to an already great house. This was my first rental with Teresa and we were beyond pleased. Had a little garbage disposal issue when we arrived and I’m almost not exaggerating when I say a friendly fellow was knocking on the back door before I hung up the phone. Very proactive and forthright property manager!

We had a pleasant week in Sandy Footprints last month, lousy weather and all It’s a clean nicely decorated home on North Cape. The master suite was a bit cramped for our tastes, but we”l be back again for our annual May trip since the house next door we normally rent, Bella Vista, is undergoing renovations. I have recommended this house to friends.

We had such a wonderful stay at the beautiful, comfortable and perfectly appointed Sandy Footprints. The space was exactly the right fit for our group. We used the kitchen for several meals and it was equipped with everything we needed. We spent time in the pool everyday and the short walk to the beach was easy. We had our pups and they loved the house and the covered deck where they watched us as we swam in the pool. We loved the restaurants and stores we visited on cape especially Weber’s Donuts! The piggly wiggly in Port St Joe had everything we needed to stock up for the week. My kids (adult and teen) and the friends they brought all thought it was one of if not the best vacations they had ever been on. Hope to be back!!

The house is beautiful! Very nicely decorated. We had a wonderful stay. It is very private and it was warm enough to use the pool. Just love the Cape in October and November! Most of all, we love booking with Terri and Teresa and have been for years. We always know what to expect and their prices and service can’t be beat.

The house is wonderful. We loved having the pool. The short walk to the beach was easy. We had a quiet and very relaxing time as we had hoped. We would highly recommend.

We stayed for a week and loved the house and heated pool. The beach was quiet even during spring break and filled with shells! My boys loved being able to swim even on cooler days. We had an issue with a thermostat and they were able to get it fixed quickly. We look forward to returning!

Absolutely great experience. Teresa and Teri are by far the best summer rental agents around. The pool was terrific for the kids. The house is close to the beach so it’s possible to run back and forth to the house. We will be back!
